Product Overview

The Grade 1 line covers two technologies: oil-immersed — the S20/S22 series 10–35kV distribution transformers; and dry-type — the SC(B)18 (SC18-NX1) epoxy-resin cast series. Both meet Grade 1 of GB 20052-2020 together with GB 1094.1, GB/T 6451, GB/T 10228 and IEC 60076.

Why Grade 1

Large no-load-loss reduction: Grade 1 dry-type is 40%+ below SC(B)10 — biggest benefit on always-energized duty;
Lower noise: Grade 1 dry-type averages 20% below JB/T 10088-2016;
Total-cost advantage: against S13/SC(B)13, the incremental cost typically pays back in 3–5 years;
Tender-ready: efficiency filings and test-report catalogs map directly onto tender clauses.

Selection Route

Outdoor pole/compact-substation and renewable step-up duty: oil-immersed S20/S22. Indoor data-center and commercial duty: dry-type SC(B)18. Loss comparisons and payback estimates are available per project.
