The Jiangsu Fengguang Dry-Type Transformer product line includes model families such as SCB10, SCB11, SCB12, SCB13, SCB14, and SCB18, with capacities ranging from 315 to 4,000 kVA. It offers two insulation manufacturing methods: epoxy casting and VPI vacuum pressure impregnation. The epoxy casting method provides higher integrity and fire resistance, while the VPI method offers better overload and moisture-heat fatigue resistance. The selection depends on the fire protection requirements and operating curves of each project.
The production facility is equipped with vacuum casting and impregnation equipment, as well as on-line inspection and aging testing stations. Comprehensive quality control is implemented throughout the process, from the selection of copper and silicon steel materials to the assembly of the transformer core. A red assembly line, slitting, and winding stations form a complete manufacturing chain. Every unit undergoes routine tests before leaving the factory, and type tests and third-party verification can be arranged as needed.

For tropical humid regions, moisture-proof heating strips and anti-condensation designs are provided; for coastal salt spray areas, three-proof paint and stainless steel fasteners are available. In sandy environments, high-protection enclosures and dust-proof air intake structures are optional. The entire series complies with IEC 60076-11 standards and supports CE and multi-language label export documents.
The dual-frequency design capability (50/60Hz) covers the Philippines, some isolated grids in Indonesia, and the American market. Impedance voltage and noise are rechecked according to the target frequency before testing, and the labels and reports reflect this.

Quality control spans the entire manufacturing process: rolled silicon steel is precisely cut on the slitting line, core assembly is inspected section by section according to process instructions, the automatic winding machine completes winding, then it proceeds to core assembly and VPI impregnation stations. Routine tests are completed before leaving the factory, and type tests and third-party verification can be arranged as needed—from material selection to traceable records of each process, all are documented with the goods.
The choice between the two manufacturing methods provides a simple decision for procurement: if overload and moisture-heat fatigue are the main issues, choose VPI; if fire protection level and maintenance-free performance are key, choose epoxy casting. Mixing both methods within the same project is also common—underground floors use epoxy casting due to fire protection constraints, while ground rooms use VPI. The loss and noise indicators are kept consistent for easier acceptance.
Export delivery is a regular part of this product line: multi-language labels, CE and ISO system documents, and test report catalogs are prepared at three levels: bidding, evaluation, and factory inspection. Packaging and transportation are designed for both full box and separate units. Island logistics and lifting conditions are included in the detailed drawings. The fire protection levels, overload requirements, and budget constraints for different projects correspond to different insulation manufacturing processes, and it is difficult for a single product line to cover all of them.
