SCB13-1000/10 epoxy resin cast dry transformer, 1000kVA, 10.5/0.4kV, fire-resistant, low noise, low discharge, compliant with IEC 60076-11, suitable for data centers, hospitals, and commercial buildings.
The SCB13-1000/10 dry-type transformer uses an epoxy resin vacuum casting process. It has a rated capacity of 1000 kVA and a voltage combination of 10.5/0.4 kV. The coil has strong integrity and low local discharge levels. It features fire-resistant, moisture-proof, and maintenance-free properties, making it the preferred power distribution solution for data centers, hospitals, subways, and commercial buildings with high population density.
The key considerations for accepting the dry-type transformer are safety and noise: the epoxy casting structure is self-extinguishing with no risk of oil leakage; noise and local discharge are critical requirements in data centers and hospitals. The product has undergone special noise reduction measures in three aspects: core joints, bracket fixation, and winding compression. Optimized assembly processes have been used to reduce noise to an acceptable level for buildings; local discharge is controlled by the consistency of the vacuum casting and curing curve processes. The key parameters are shown in the parameter table below. The SCB series capacity ranges from 315–4000 kVA, and there is also the option of SCBH15/SCBH17 amorphous alloy low-loss dry transformers. In terms of environmental adaptation: in tropical humid regions, moisture-proof heating strips and dew prevention designs are provided; in sandy areas, an IP54 enclosure can be selected; at coastal salt spray sites, three-proof paint and stainless steel fasteners are available. The enclosure can be integrated with a cabinet-in-plant solution for delivery, including a compressor room space. The product meets IEC 60076-11 and GB 1094.11 requirements. Each unit undergoes routine tests before leaving the factory, and type tests and third-party verification can be conducted as needed. It supports 50/60Hz power grids and customized non-standard voltage combinations. To request the noise reduction solution and loss comparison table for data center scenarios, please send the load curve to sales@fgtransformer.com. Quality control spans the entire manufacturing process: rolled silicon steel is precisely cut on the slitting line, the core assembly is inspected section by section according to the process checklist, the automatic winding machine completes the winding, then it enters the body assembly and vacuum impregnation (VPI) station. Routine tests are completed before leaving the factory, and type tests and third-party verification can be arranged as needed. From material selection to each process, traceable records are provided in document form along with the product. A point often overlooked when selecting products: the noise indicators of dry-type transformers should be considered together with the enclosure and air intake method. An increased IP rating may lead to higher temperatures and noise, so calculations must be done based on the server room layout. Under the 2N architecture of data centers, the backup machine and quick replacement promises have a greater impact on the full life cycle cost than individual machine parameters. This constraint can be included in the inquiry form during the quotation stage. Export delivery is a regular part of this product line: multilingual nameplates, CE and ISO system documents, and inspection report catalogs are prepared at three levels: bidding, evaluation, and factory inspection. Packaging and transportation are designed in two options: whole box or separate units. Island logistics and lifting conditions are included in the boundary during the detailed drawing stage. The quality control foundation of national high-tech enterprises, national energy-saving product promotion enterprises, and qualified suppliers of State Grid/China Southern Power Grid also serves the review schedule of overseas projects.Data centers and hospitals, among other crowded places, have included fire prevention, low noise, and low partial discharge as mandatory acceptance criteria. The oil stains and maintenance burden from transformer maintenance are difficult to handle in such environments.
